It’s a possibility, brother!
Hulk Hogan may end up serving in President-elect Donald Trump’s administration, as he seemed to allude to the possibility during a recent interview.
Hogan, a former pro-wrestler, has become an avid supporter of Trump and even appeared at some of his rallies while on the campaign trail. During an interview with Fox News on Saturday, he recounted a moment at Trump’s Madison Square Garden Rally in October, in which he said Trump seemed open to having Hogan serve in his administration.
“My president said, ‘You know something, you’d be great to run the President’s Council on Physical Fitness,’” Hogan said during the interview.
The President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition is a federal advisory panel that encourages Americans to introduce healthy eating and physical activity into their lives, according to its website.
The council was renewed by President Joe Biden until Sept. 30, 2025.
Hogan went on to say that after the rally, he talked with Trump about nutrition and physical fitness, a conversation he thinks led to the suggestion.
“At the end of the day, when I was in the back at Madison Square Garden after the whole rally, we were talking about Robert Kennedy, I was talking about nutrition, and how many foreign countries won’t even let their people eat the food that we eat here in America. It’s so bad, and it’s poisoned a generation of kids. And at the end of the day, we start talking about physical fitness,” Hogan said.
Hogan wouldn’t be the first person from the world of pro-wrestling to join Trump’s cabinet if he is nominated to serve under the president-elect.
Last week, Trump announced that Linda McMahon was his nomination for secretary of the Department of Education.McMahon previously served as the CEO of the WWE, which she founded with her husband, Vince McMahon. She stepped down as CEO in 2009 after helping grow the company to a major media empire.
The selection also wouldn’t be the first to raise eyebrows, as Trump has received criticism for nominating Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead the Department of Health and Human Services. Kennedy has consistently questioned the efficacy of vaccines, leading many to feel he would be dangerous at the head of the department that controls such things.
Trump’s team has not commented on the remarks from Hogan.
