What started as Pulitzer Prize- winning reporting on the allegations surrounding Harvey Weinstein quickly became a book and a podcast from Audacy's Pineapple Street Studios. Now, the story is taking new form as an HBO series.
"Catch and Kill: The Podcast Tapes" takes information from the book and he podcast and transforms it into a six-part series with half-hour episodes, featuring Weinstein's accusers, journalists, and more.

One of Weinstein's accusers featured in the series is Ambra Battilana Gutierrez, who notably recorded Weinstein during their second meeting after being allegedly groped by him in their first meeting.
In later episodes, Farrow sits down with journalists like Ken Auletta, who led Farrow to the New Yorker after NBC declined to run his story.
However, even with all of the evidence Farrow compiled against Weinstein, it was a while before the movie mogul was eventually convicted and sentenced to 23 years in prison. The series aims to outline the hurdles that allowed Weinstein's inappropriate behavior to continue for so long.
Despite many allegations of sexual misconduct against Weinstein, Weinstein maintains that "every single one of his physical encounters throughout his entire life have been consensual," spokesman Juda Engelmayer told CNN last fall.
And while much of the series will focus on the events of the Weinstein case, the episodes also dive into Farrow's journalistic process, getting deeper into the events leading up to his story eventually being published with the help of the New Yorker.
"Catch and Kill: The Podcast Tapes" premieres on HBO on July 12 at 9 pm ET. Two new episodes will air each week.
