The dating app Tinder is making it easy to find love or at least companionship during the pandemic.
The company is offering users 500 users a free mail-in COVID-19 test, to help people fee safer before meeting up for in-person dates.
Tinder partnered with Everlywell, a medical testing company to offer “nose swab” tests that can be taken at home and mailed back to the lab. EverlyWell will post results online within 24-48 hours.
“We’re excited to be working with Everlywell to make it easier for our members to go and meet their matches safely,” Nicole Parlapiano, Tinder’s VP of marketing for North America, said in a statement.
Of course, Tinder makes sure to tell its users that “a negative test result does not mean you don’t have or cannot transmit COVID-19.”
Tinder users in the US can claim a code for the tests on March 20th starting at 7 PM ET.
