Pittsburgh doesn’t mess around when it comes for our love for Heinz ketchup.
This was proven with the outrage that happened at Kennywood this year when it was discovered they were not using Heinz ketchup. Of course, Pittsburgh came together and made a change to bring back our favorite ketchup brand!
And while we love our Heinz more than anyone else could ever imagine, Ed Sheeran’s love for Heinz ketchup should make him an honorary Yinzer!
The Grammy-winner has a tattoo of Heinz ketchup bottle on his arm, and, when he visited Pittsburgh, went to the Heinz History Museum.
And if those showcases don’t demonstrate his love enough, his latest project puts the stamp on his Yinzer badge!
After sending a voice note to Heinz about a commercial idea, and, making a post about his commercial idea on his social media, Heinz and Ed teamed up for the ‘Perfect’ commercial.
We’re not just saying that it’s ‘Perfect’ because of his hit-song. It’s ‘Perfect’ because, if you are ever at a fancy restaurant, and you’re like me and Ed, you need your Heinz ketchup!
Fancy or not, Heinz makes all food go from bad to great, great to the BEST.
And, for Ed, his 'Edchup" commerical is "a dream come true."
Now we need to bring Ed back to Pittsburgh to give him some honorary Yinzer plague, right?!
