What were you doing at six-years-old..? Playing with toys and not really caring about the world around you? Seems normal for a six-year-old, but not for Kaley Bastine.

The first grader who aspires to be a police officer has been raising money for the Harrison Township Police Department in an effort to get them a K9!

Over the weekend, Kaley and her mother, Jamie, held a car wash in Natrona Height's, pushing their total to over $3,000!

Listen to what Kaley and Jamie had to say to Y'd Awake this morning about their effort.

They've already had a lemonade and cookie stand as well for the police department; Next up is a hot dog stand!

Kaley’s goal is to raise $10,000 - Enough money to help the department buy a K9 to come into Highlands School District.

If you would like to help in their effort, you can donate to Kaley's Fund at the Harrison Police Department.
