You’ve probably already heard about the infamous Facebook event called “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us.”
Scheduled for September 20th, the event now has almost 2 million attendees!
It's been “discouraged” that people should go to the area, but it HAS been encouraged that people should go to an animal shelter in Oklahoma and adopt their pups!
The idea inspired the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare in Oklahoma City to find an ingenious way of attracting potential adopters.
The center also included some space-themed photos of their lovely inhabitants that are up for adoption.
They have also dressed up dogs wearing small tin foil hats with an antenna.
Such a GREAT idea!
The shelter currently has 116 dogs, 39 cats, and 2 piggies up for adoption, not including two of the dogs who were dressed up like aliens.. They've already been adopted!
