2020 has not been an easy for a lot of couples, including Carly Pearce and Michael Ray who have decided to call it quits.
PEOPLE magazine is reporting that on Friday Carly filled for a divorce after eight months of marriage.
A source close to the couple was quoted by the magazine saying, "This was a hard decision. It wasn't something she wanted to have to do.. This hasn't been a quarantine realization — it was a last resort.."
The couple was last scene in public together on June 6th when they both performed without a live audience at the Grand Ole Opry.
Carly and Michael are normally very vocal about their relationship on social media, but fans have noticed the disappearance of the two in the past couple months, with the last time being in April when they shared birthday tributes for each other on Instagram.
The two have yet to make a comment on their social media about the break up.
