It has been five years since DeAngelo Williams lost his mother to breast cancer, but the former Pittsburgh Steeler is still committed to fighting against the disease.

Wanting to honor his late female family members whom have passed away from the disease, DeAngelo decided to help women across the nation by paying for 500 mammogram screenings through his nonprofit organization, The DeAngelo Williams Foundation.

This isn't the first time DeAngelo has done something like this..

DeAngelo first started covering the cost of mammograms for women in 2015!

In a recent interview, DeAngelo said, “To be able to help all these women is amazing. This can be life-changing for these women. We are enabling them to get this care that no one should ever be denied or not have access to.”

WOW. What an incredible human.

Keep up the fantastic work DeAngelo!!
