We've all been there.. Standing in front of the refrigerator not sure what to eat for breakfast and eventually settling on a left over piece of pizza.
Well a recent study showed that you made the right choice!
The study showed that most cereal contains a high amount of sugar and lacks of protein/healthy fats, giving it a "nutritionally bleak" standing.
Shockingly enough, the average slice of pizza and a bowl of cereal with whole milk contain nearly the same amount of calories.
The major difference though - Pizza packs a much larger protein punch, which will keep you full throughout the morning.
While most dietitians will say that you should be making a better breakfast choice than pizza for your average breakfast, it's good to know that you can indulge once in a while and not feel as guilty about it!
