My love of dogs is pretty obvious; We're blessed beyond to have them in our lives.

So whenever George H.W. Bush introduced us to his service dog, Sully H.W. Bush in 2018, it was love at first sight and I was immediately hooked.

The two-year-old Golden Labrador's stand out moment though was when George H.W. Bush passed away and the picture of Sully laying in front of the casket was released.

It made our hearts break a little bit more in that sad moment for the Bush family and Sully, but now our hearts can be full once again because Sully accepted a new position!

As of Wednesday, Sully started a new job with the US Navy at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center outside Washington.

On Sully's Instagram yesterday (Yes, Sully has an Instagram!), a picture of him was posted being appointed to the rank of hospital corpsman second class.

With Sully's new position, he will continue his work with helping veterans by reducing stress and increasing well-being among patients and staff.

I'm sure those veterans will be excited to meet him just as I would be.

Congrats Sully on your new position!

Keep being the sweetest pup and doing great work! (Can someone translate that into dog barks for me and give Sully that message please and thanks!)
