Jail Employees Face Charges After Using ‘Baby Shark’ Song To Punish Inmates

Just when you think "2020" can't get more "2020", this story comes along. 

Three former jail employees in Oklahoma are facing criminal charges after they forced inmates to listen repeatedly to “Baby Shark”.

It was reported that this happened on five occasions involving five inmates, each separately.

The employees took the inmates into an empty attorney visitation room and handcuffed them to the the wall, forcing him to stand for as long as two hours and played “Baby Shark” through a computer, forcing the inmates to listen to the song on repeat.

According to a New York Times article, the three were charged on Monday with cruelty to prisoners, corporal punishment to an inmate and conspiracy.
