No one really knows the reasoning behind Justin challenging Tom Cruise, but I smell a publicity stunt or charity event coming on.. Or just simply insanity.
I mean, WHY else would you do something like this?
Justin, you are aware you're taking on the Church of Scientology too right?! AWKWARD.
Also the stats on this (because we know you're thinking about this..) - Justin is 25 years old, 5'9″, and reportedly 146 pounds. Tom is 56 years old, 5'7″, and anywhere from 148 to 170 pounds depending on the source.
There has been no tweets from Justin since and no response from Tom, but of course, the reaction tweets are where it's at.
Nothing brings people together like making fun of something as ridiculous as this!
Whether this is a real story or simply a publicity stunt, just the idea of Justin Bieber actually trying to take on Maverick from Top Gun gives you a mental image worthy of a laugh!
