The Indy 500 is a HUGE day in racing, but it was also a big day for Kelly Clarkson!
Kelly kicked off the show by performing the National Anthem and NAILED IT!
Of course, this was after Kelly almost took a fall before getting on stage!
While walking up to the main stage, it appeared that Kelly's ankle buckles in her black platform heels while walking down a red carpet. She nearly fell forward before catching herself and recovering like a true champ.
Kelly in true fashion raised both hands in the air and bowed to let everyone know she was OK and then took to Twitter saying, "Best part of my day is always revealing to people that might not know how utterly not cool I am. That damn crack was hidden by the carpet man!"
Gotta love Kelly for being so talented and being about to laugh at herself!
