Maren released the song “Better Than We Found It" on Friday in hopes that it would have some effect on the state of the world we we're living in right now.
Maren also released a video for the song, which features footage of protest marches, both past and present, and features people telling their stories of police brutality, of their fears, and of why they are marching. It ends with a message to her son Hayes, as she struggles through this difficult year, with the screen ending on the word “VOTE”.
