Norwin Graduate Honors Mother In Performance With Carrie Underwood At PPG Paints Arena

Molly and Carrie Underwood

When Carrie Underwood asks fans to do something for her, you know they will jump through hoops for her!

So when Carrie asked fans to submit a video rapping to Ludacris' verse in "The Champion" with a written explanation of who your champion is and why, Molly Papp, a 2018 Norwin graduate, jumped at the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

Molly wrote to Carrie that her mom is champion. Her mother has been battling MS for about 30 years, but not once has she let it defeat her. Molly said in her message to Carrie, "The lyrics that stood out to me was, 'I am invincible, unbreakable, unstoppable, unshakeable. They knock me down, I get up again'.."
While it's hard to imagine what it would be like to be on stage with Carrie, try to imagine the opportunity to sing with her! Well don't worry.. You don't have to imagine anymore!

Y'd Awake had the chance to talk to Molly about the experience she had at the PPG Paints Arena this weekend with Carrie!

 HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!

Congrats to Molly for this amazing opportunity and thanks Carrie for giving one of our own the opportunity to do something like this!
