While 'yinzers' love the city of Pittsburgh, myself included, we would love to be able to introduce tourists to the city that we love so much.
The tourism board, VisitPITTSBURGH, has introduced the marketing strategy Tuesday of 'Pull Up A Chair, You Are Welcome Here'.
The goal is to highlight the city's friendliness on a national scale, while also including Pittsburgh staples like the 'parking chair' to use as a symbol of inclusiveness.
The campaign will role out nationally April 29th and will play for four weeks in Times Square. It will also air as an intro for the new Mister Rogers movie, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, when it comes to theaters in New York City, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.
LOVE THIS!
Can't help when we show extra love for our city & tourists are going to see that with this promotional campaign!
