The Irwin family continues to do all that they can for the devastation in Australia.

Not only has the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital taken in and cared for over 90,000 animals in the past couple months, the family continues to speak out on behalf of the animals that have been lost.

Terri and Robert Irwin recently went on an Australian TV show to talk about the devastation happen in Australia, and Robert held back tears trying to explain the real scale of the damage done by the wildfire.

Since it has been widely-reported that Australia has lost almost a billion animals in the Australian bushfires, Robert said that we can now qualify the koala population as endangered.

Robert continued by saying they’re are currently attending to koalas, possums, birds, platypus and many other types of animals at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital.

As Robert said in the interview, “We’re just trying to do our best to help in any way we can, but it’s an absolutely horrific situation. We’re heartbroken.”
