In this week's edition of what TV shows are left to reboot, we have the latest to be picked up.. Saved By The Bell!
NBC announced with their latest streaming service, Peacock, they will be bringing back the 90s classic show.
The rebooted series will include Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley! It will follow A.C. Slater and Jessie Spano as new parents, but will also focus on a new generation of teens attending Bay Side High.
According to NBC, the main synopsis of the show explores what happens when California Gov. Zack Morris (Mark Gosselaar) gets into hot water for closing too many low-income high schools and proposes the affected students be sent to the highest-performing schools in the state — including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the over-privileged Bayside kids a much-needed and hilarious dose of reality.
There is no confirmed date yet on when the reboot will be released.
