A lot of companies have stepped up to help out their employees in this time of need and now Texas Roadhouse is one of them.

Texas Roadhouse CEO and founder, Kent Taylor, announced this week that he will be giving up his salary for the rest of the year so that the money can go to "front-line workers".

According to an article by MarketWatch, the executive will forego his pay from March 18, 2020, to Jan. 7, 2021 to help out the employees of more than 500 restaurants across the United States.

While I've yet to see a solid answer as to what the amount is, it's being reported that Kent's salary is around $525,000 and also receives a $525,000 bonus throughout the year.

In this time of uncertainty, this is the positive news that we need to hear and so amazingly generous of Kent Taylor!
