Coming back from the winter hiatus, we had a lot of cliff hangers we needed answers to!
All of the Pearsons were going through relationship issues; Kevin asking Zoe to move in and a potential break up on the line over her ex, Randall being forced to sleep on the couch because Beth wasn't a fan of him continuing to run in the election that she thought he was going to lose (HE WON!) and finally Kate selling Toby's prized collector Star Wars toys that he was saving for their future child, there was lots of relationship drama to be had, but also lots of sweet make up moments..
Of course the winner of make up moments was Toby, melting our hearts as always. While Kate attempts to make it up to Toby by getting his his toys back and ends up buying similar replica Star Wars toys that she had sold, she also comes to the realization that she has no toys from her childhood to pass down to her son, due to all of her toys being destroyed in the fire that took her childhood home last season, including a replica of Three Rivers Stadium that Jack had made her as a child. *TEARS ARE COMING - LOCATE THE TISSUES*. Toby, being the champion that he is, made her the Three Rivers Stadium that Kate had from her childhood and included the Star Wars action figures, making her and the rest of the viewers sob uncontrollably..

While we didn't get all of the answers that we needed to the cliffhangers that we were left with in 2018, it looks like a good season of This Is Us is ahead of us.
