Whoopi Says "Sister Act 3" Is In The Works!

Sister Mary Clarence is making a comeback.. “Sister Act 3” is OFFICIALLY in the works! 

Whoopi Goldberg confirmed it during an appearance on The Late Late Show Wednesday night.

“For a long time, they kept saying no one wanted to see it. And then quite recently, it turns out, that that may not be true. People may want to see it," Whoopi told superfan James Corden. “So we're working diligently to try to figure out how to get the gang together and come back.”

Both “Sister Act” and “Sister Act 2” feature “The View” host as lounge singer turned undercover nun Sister Mary Clarence.

In the first one, she was able to transform the nuns into a choir after being placed there in witness protection. The second installment finds her returning to teach high school students. 

There are no details just yet on the plot or when the movie will be released.
