I KNEW IT.
I KNEWWWW that if I took the attitude of 'a watched pot never boils', and DID NOT watch April the Giraffe 24/7 like I did last time, that she would give birth sooner rather than later. AND IT HAPPENED!
She gave birth to a bouncing baby boy at Animal Adventure Park on Saturday and I MISSED IT! I'm SO mad at myself.
BUT, the baby is precious and April is adorable with him, so that makes up for it!
THEY ARE ACTUALLY SMILING IN THIS PHOTO AND MY HEART IS MELTING:
If you missed the actual birth, FAIR WARNING, it looks a lot like the stuff on the Discovery Channel that makes you CHANGE the channel!

BUT! Here's hoping they let us choose this little guy's name like they did with April's last baby, Tajiri! I'll keep ya posted!
