Talk about the surprise of a lifetime!
Cory Fischer, a patient at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, is battling Ewing Sarcoma and has been going through a tough time lately during the first phases of chemotherapy, so the Pittsburgh Steelers wanted to do something special for him and gift him with two tickets to the Super Bowl!
Steelers' T.J. Watt surprised him we a virtual call to tell him about the trip to Los Angeles this weekend saying, “I’m very jealous of you because you’re about to do something I’m not able to do this year. We weren’t able to get the job done, we weren’t able to go to the Super Bowl, but you are, my friend. You’re going to the Super Bowl, man."
Keep fighting the good fight Cory & we hope you have a great time at the game! You can read the full story on the Steelers website.
