Get ready for this Willy Wonka fans.. It's official that Timothee Chalamet will be playing Willy Wonka in a prequel to the classic "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory"!
It was announced Monday that the musical based Warner Bros. film will be a musical based on the early life of Willy Wonka called "Wonka".
There is no word just yet on when filming will begin or when the film is set to be released.
The original film came out in 1971 with Gene Wilder playing the Willy Wonka. Johnny Depp took on the role in the Tim Burton version in 2005 with "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory".
