Mark Cuban’s Mavericks Won’t Include National Anthem At Games Anymore

We've all heard about protests over the way people handle themselves while "The Star-Spangled Banner" is being sung, but what about no national anthem being done at games anymore at all?

Mark Cuban took that step with his Mavericks basketball team.

Why you might ask? The Y'd Awake Morning Show is asking the same thing. You can listen to our thoughts above.

Cuban's decision went unnoticed by the public for the first thirteen games, because fans have not been allowed in the stands at the games and a statement was never publicly made by the organization.

It wasn't until fans we're allowed in the stands at Monday night's game that they noticed "The Star-Spangled Banner" missing from the evening.

In the past, Cuban has been vocal about his support of those who kneel during the playing of the national anthem, but he has yet to comment on the current reasoning for removing the songs from the Mavericks games.
