Animal lover, Trisha Yearwood, took advantage of the #BettyWhiteChallenge Monday and raised a lot of money for animal rescues!
While holding a virtual fundraiser on Monday, Trisha reached out to her fans to support the challenge, which asked folks to contribute animal rescue organizations across the country.
Trisha was matching donations up to $10,000, but she brought in much more than that. In just 15 minutes, she raised $24,000 (not including her matching) for an animal charity called Dottie's Yard, and it’s possible more came in overnight after the virtual event was over.
Talk about making Betty proud! Way to go Trisha!
