Americans Spend 83 Hours A Year Looking For Online Deals

A new study on SlickDeals.com found the average American spends 83 hours a year hunting down deals online.

Here are a few more quick stats on thriftiness, and the HIGH that comes with it . . .

1.  52% of people said they get a natural high from finding a deal.  And it lasts an average of 30 minutes.

2.  One of the top reasons we like to find deals is so we can BRAG about it.  56% said they'll often brag about a sale they found to friends or family.

3.  45% said that when they shop online, they'll ONLY buy stuff that's on sale.  So almost half of us refuse to pay full price.

4.  Three out of four people said it's about finding value, not buying stuff on sale if you don't need it.

5.  The top things we're currently looking for deals on are clothes and shoes.

6.  The hardest things to find a good deal on right now are video game consoles, computer parts, and home appliances.
