According to the results, the best state for a summer road trip this year is New York . . . and the worst state is Rhode Island.

The WORST states for road trips are: Rhode Island . . . Delaware . . . Connecticut . . . Hawaii . . . and Arkansas.
MISSOURI came in at number 33 on the list.
Louisiana is the cheapest road trip state . . . Maine is the safest . .
. and it didn't make the top ten, but California has the most stuff to do.
