YouGov.com polled over 13,000 and discovered that quite a few of us leave our phones on mute now.
11% . . . or 1 in 9 people . . . said they ALWAYS keep their phone on silent or vibrate. And another 16% usually do.
Around 1 in 5 people said it's pretty even, and their phone is muted about half the time.
26% said they never mute their phone, and another 24% rarely do. So half of us still have our ringer on most of the time.
But muting your phone might be trending. Young people were four times as likely as older people to say they're always on mute.
