Emojis keep on finding their way into professional life, and according to a new survey from Clutch.co, three out of four people say they're using emojis at work now.
And the top four reasons why we use them are: They help give our messages the right tone . . . we can use them to express our emotions virtually . . . they make work seem less formal . . . and they help us respond to messages faster.
But . . . even if we're all using them, are they UNPROFESSIONAL?
60% of people say they can be . . . so not every situation at work is right for emojis. Like, you probably shouldn't put them in emails to clients or serious memos.
And also, you might want to think about who's going to see the emojis. A quarter of people over 45 . . . and even one in eight people under 34 . . . say they've gotten a message at work with an emoji they didn't understand.
