It's the most wonderful time of the year...NATIONAL BAGEL DAY!!! I only recently started my bagel addiction this past year (I used to look at the crazy Ney York/New Jersey bagel fanatics with slight fear and confusion) but now I crave them all of the time (gimme all of the carbs), so naturally I'm very excited about today.
There are a few places around the Hampton Roads area that are giving away free or discounted donuts: Bruegger's Bagels on Virginia Beach Boulevard near Town Center, Einstein Bros, Yorgo's in Norfolk/Ghent area, and Manhattan Bagels in Williamsburg (but if you go somewhere that isn't, maybe lightly whisper in their ear that today is National Bagel Day and attempt to persuade them into giving you a free bagel...on second thought maybe not, that could be sexual harassment).
All I know is I'm having a steamy hot date with a delicious, toasted, bacon, egg, and cheese everything bagel today, and you should too. Click here for more info!
