We live in a scary society sometimes, and unfortunately stories of people being abducted in Uber rides or cat-fished by dangerous people on first dates are not unusual...which is why Tinder is adding a new safety feature to its dating app.
If a date goes wrong, there will now be a panic button the individual can use that will alert the authorities without raising suspicion. Another feature will be the ability to check-in and share your location with friends and family.
