1. One of my favorite snacks is Chex Mix, but I ABSOLUTELY HATE the brown rye chips they put in there. How could you make such a perfect mix of snacks, and then RUIN IT by putting those disgusting things in there! Yuck!

2. My first day ever on the air at Z104 was the day AFTER the Janet Jackson "wardrobe malfunction." I was doing middays then, and it was my very first shift. I remember the day before thinking to myself, "gee I sure hope there's something interesting to talk about tomorrow on my first day..."

3. In college I was an assistant manager at Gadzooks. Remember that place? It was a lot like Hot Topic is today. When I worked there our hottest selling items by FAR were JNCO jeans and wallet chains. I used to see those things and wonder why everybody wasted money on them...

4. The thing I miss the most about home (Detroit) is having pro sports teams. Don't get me wrong, I love Virginia. I love Wawa, the weather, the beach, and the people. But I sure do miss going to see my Red Wings, Tigers, Lions, and Pistons play.

5. For some reason, my favorite type of TV show or movie has to do with either con jobs, or high tech robberies. I love watching the main characters plan on how they're going to pull off some crazy, elaborate heist, and I love watching the plan come together.

6. My new "pandemic hobby" became gardening. I wanted something that my daughter Mia and I could do together, so we started our own backyard garden. We did okay for our very first try, and the house was full of tomatoes and zucchini. The squash didn't really end up making it though.

7. I have one older brother, and two younger sisters. They all live up in Michigan still, but I visit them when I can. They definitely helped me become a better dad, because I got to be the "cool uncle" SEVEN TIMES before I had a kid of my own.

8. I have a fear of being on or in vehicles I can't control. In other words, I'm kind of a back seat driver, and I'm not a very happy airline passenger either. In fact, I am usually pretty tense during a flight.

9. When I was a kid, one of my favorite things to do was do pretend newscasts into a tape recorder. I also used to do silly voices, pretend commercials, and comedy skits. Now as an adult I get paid to do all that.

10. I have interviewed Academy Award winners, Grammy winners, one President (Biden) and one First Lady (Michelle) but my all-time favorite interview was with Jamie Foxx. He is simply the nicest, humblest, and most talented human I've ever had the pleasure to talk to. He even sang happy birthday to my mom. I'll never forget that.
