While “Dancing with the Stars” is getting ready to launch its milestone 30th season, some fans hope they will see Tom Bergeron soon on their television screens.

Bergeron will not return to the famous dancing competition series, but he made sure to tell his fans that he will be returning to television.

The 66-year-old told fans on social media that he is working on a project at NBC Universal Studios.

He posted a picture with a caption that read, “Successful wardrobe fitting for next week’s sitcom guest spot. Everything fit despite pandemic IPA diet 😏🍺👍🏼.”

Although the TV personality didn’t reveal too many details, fans commented on his post with supportive comments. However, others went nuts.

“Which sitcom? Can’t miss it,” one user said.

“Pretty cool. Got excited there for a minute and then I noticed it was an NBC building 🙂 You KNOW we want you back @tombergeron!!” another wrote.

“Can’t wait to see you in something new — will never watch DWTS w/o you! 🙌,” a fan commented.

This isn’t the first time that Bergeron revealed he is “returning to hosting.”

In April, he kept fans in suspense after hinting at a new hosting job on social media. But the “DWTS” alum has now let fans know that his new gig won’t be for any show he’s hosted in the past.

“I thought I would let you go into the weekend with some more information, some of which may disappoint some of you. I am returning to hosting — that is the part I hope doesn’t disappoint some of you,” Bergeron said in a video shared to Twitter.

Without revealing the program’s name, he slammed fans’ hopes of him to headline the long-running ABC dance competition series once again.

“It’s not going to be a show that I previously hosted,” he added. “However, it’s very reminiscent of a show I previously hosted.”
