The project is named after the group’s late manager, Jordan Feldstein, who tragically passed away in 2017 after a heart attack.

“We built this thing together,” lead singer Adam Levine shared via social media. “A piece of me will always be missing. The loss is tragic in ways I’m still learning how to cope with. All I can do is keep him with me and honor him in the best way I know how.”

Levine recently appeared on Ellen DegeneresThe Ellen Show to help celebrate the 3,000th episode. While there he talked about the release of the new album and being a stay at home father and was later joined by Maroon 5 group mates to perform the song “Beautiful Mistakes,” from the new album.

During his chat with Ellen, Levine also took the opportunity to share some opinions he has on the upcoming marriage of his former, fellow judge on NBC’s The Voice, Blake Shelton and Shelton’s fiancee, Gwen Stefani, who filled Levine’s vacancy after his departure.

“I don’t support their marriage,” Levine joked to Ellen who (jokingly) told the audience she has plans to be the maid of honor. “She’s so cool, and he’s not… he’s vaguely charming."

Also a hot topic of discussion was Levine’s new full leg tattoo which he recently had finished after three long, painful sessions.

“It sucks, it sucks. It hurts to get a tattoo,” Levine told Ellen. “But it turned out great and I love it and I get to have it forever and it never has to hurt again.”

The only thing more painful than the tattoo in Levine’s eyes was the preparation. “I waxed my leg for the tattoo, which I had never done before, and that also sucks,” he shared.
