IN DEPTH PODCAST: 9/11, 20 years later

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- This year, in honor of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, 1010 WINS is looking back at the day that would forever change the nation.

In this week’s In Depth Podcast, we not only capture chilling testimony from veteran reporters who were on the scene such as John Montone, Ben Mevorach, and Glenn Schuck, but also speak to several people connected to the attacks — some of whom lost family members and some of whom have spent every day since in service to all those affected by it.

The program includes appearances from Tunnel to Towers Foundation CEO Frank Siller, Chairman and CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald Howard Lutnick and attorney Ken Feinberg. While all three men come from different walks of life, they are forever connected by 9/11.

Siller lost his firefighter brother, Stephen, that day. The foundation is named in honor of the path Stephen raced from the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers to try and save lives.

Lutnick lost his brother too that day, along with 658 fellow employees who work out of the World Trade Center. The company has the most casualties on record as a result of the terror attacks.

Incidentally, Feinberg did not lose anyone on 9/11. However, he chose to become the Special Master of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund and helped quantify the unquantifiable — the worth of the lives lost.

Listen as WINS explores their stories and more in an episode worth remembering about the importance of never forgetting.
