Tickets for NYC Homecoming concerts now available; here's how to get them

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Tickets to celebrate New York City's comeback next month are officially up for grabs.

The “NYC Homecoming Week" series scheduled for later this month will celebrate the city's resilience through the COVID-19 pandemic and the city's return with performances throughout the five boroughs from Aug. 16 to Aug. 21.

Tickets for purchase are available here, with additional tickets up on Aug. 3 at 7 a.m., Aug. 4 at 9 p.m., Aug. 5 at 7 a.m., Aug. 6 at 10 a.m., and Aug. 7 at 9 p.m.

The “It’s Time For Hip Hop in NYC” concerts, which will include performances by Remy Mah and Big Daddy Kane, will be held:

Monday, August 16th, 3:00 p.m. at Orchard Beach in The Bronx
Tuesday, August 17th, 4:00 p.m. at Midland Beach on Staten Island
Thursday, August 19th, 4:00 p.m. at Brooklyn Army Terminal in Brooklyn
Friday, August 20th, 4:00 at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens

Central Park's Great Lawn will host the “We Love NYC: The Homecoming Concert” on Saturday, Aug. 21 at 5 p.m. Performers include Bruce Springsteen, Carlos Santana, Jennifer Hudson, Journey and Patti Smith.

All attendees who are 12-years-old and older must present proof of COVID-19 vaccination, with exceptions for those who are disabled. Those attending will be asked to show a physical or digital CDC COVID-19 vaccination card, their NYC COVID SAFE App or a NYS Excelsior Pass.

Unvaccinated people must wear a face mask throughout the concert and present proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken 72 hours prior. They will also be required to sign an attestation to enter.
