NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two young Long Island teens were arrested Tuesday for allegedly attempting to rob a group of young boys using a pellet gun, authorities said.

The 14 and 15 year-olds were part of a group of three who approached a group of five boys, ages 12 and 13, at Allen Park in South Farmingdale around 6:20 p.m., police said.
A boy who has yet to be apprehended had a pellet gun when the trio approached the boys, ordered them to lay on the ground and demanded money, cops said.
The 14-year-old was yelling at his conspirator to shoot the kids while the 15-year-old filmed the whole event, officials said.
A 38-year-old woman saw the incident happen and the three teens fled the scene when she walked over, police said.
No injuries were reported as a result of the attempted robbery.
Both teens arrested were found in the park at 9 p.m. after an investigation where they were arrested.
The boys were charged with five counts each of attempted robbery and arranged Wednesday.
