HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — Two women were shot, one critically, on Long Island overnight Saturday, police said.
Nassau County police said Hempstead police officers responded around 1:30 a.m. to the shooting on Polk Avenue and found the victims.
Both were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. One is in stable condition and the other is in critical condition.
No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.
