ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A 61-year-old man is wanted for a shooting in New Jersey on Tuesday, and authorities say he's considered "armed and dangerous."

James M. Allandale is being sought by the Elmwood Park Police Department and the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office for the Lincoln Avenue shooting.

The Daily Voice reported that Allandale, an ex-con also known as James Allan, allegedly shot Cynthia Greco three times on Tuesday night. A source told the outlet she's expected to survive.

Elmwood Park Police Chief Michael Foligno told NJ.com that police have flooded the area with police patrols, including some undercover officers, as well as K-9s and police helicopters.

"We have ample resources in the area to ensure the safety and security of our residents," Foligno said.

Allandale is 5'10" tall, weighs 175 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes, officials said.

The public is asked not to engage with him if he is spotted, but instead call 911.

Anyone with information can contact Elmwood Park Police at 201-796-0700 or the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office at 201-646-2300.
