
INWOOD, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A knife-wielding man is being sought after police say he robbed a Long Island gas station Sunday night.
The suspect entered the Exxon gas station at 105 Sheridan Blvd. in Inwood shortly before 9 p.m., brandishing a knife and demanding cash, according to police.
The worker complied, and the thief fled on foot southbound on Sheridan Boulevard with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Nassau County Police on Monday released images of the man, who they said was last seen wearing white sneakers, black sweatpants, a black jacket, black gloves, a black face mask and a camouflage Yankee logo baseball hat.
The investigation is ongoing.
