A woman was involved in a fender bender on Bruckner Boulevard near Castle Hill Avenue with her 42-year-old boyfriend in the passenger seat just before midnight, police said.
All of the parties exited the vehicles at which point the victim was stabbed in the right leg during a confrontation, authorities said.
The victim was taken to Jacobi Medical Center where he later died.
The suspect fled the scene in an unspecified vehicle and remains at large on Sunday morning.
