NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for two men who used pepper spray to rob a Queens pharmacy last week for drugs.

The robbers, wearing all-black clothing and black masks, threatened an employee during the robbery on Oct. 24 around 2:45 p.m. at Top Choice Pharmacy in Rego Park, according to authorities.

One of the men reportedly grabbed the 60-year-old man by the neck and brandished pepper spray while the other went behind the counter.

The two men fled with a bottle of promethazine, police said.

Promethazine can strengthen opioid highs, and is commonly taken by opiate addicts or combined with codeine to make the popular drug cocktail lean.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Police are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). Anonymous tips can also be submitted on the Crime Stoppers website or on Twitter @NYPDTips.
