NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 12-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday for an antisemitic attack in Queens in which rocks were hurled at the victim, police said.

Last week, the NYPD released surveillance video of three young suspects as the department's Hate Crime Task Force investigated.

The boy, whose identity is being withheld due to his age, was released to a family member after a juvenile report for aggravated harassment was filed.

Police said the group threw rocks and hurled antsemitic slurs at a 49-year-old man near Caffrey and Mott avenues in Far Rockaway on April 7 around 2:45 p.m.

A girl in the group flashed a razor blade before a good Samaritan intervened and scared them away, police said. The man was not hurt.

Around seven hours later, another group of kids made antisemitic remarks to a 48-year-old man near Brookhaven Avenue and Beach 17th Street.

When the victim began disputing with them, a boy in that group shoved the man, and the suspects fled, police said.

The second incident did not include the 12-year-old, according to police. It's unclear whether his accomplices were involved in the later incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
