
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for two groups of suspects after a teen was struck during a shooting that occurred between the groups in the Bronx over the weekend, authorities said.
The groups exchanged gunfire at each other at about 7:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, in the vicinity of Tratman Avenue and Saint Peters Avenue in Westchester Square, officials said.
A 17-year-old boy was caught in the gunfire and struck in the back, according to the NYPD.
The teen was transported by private means to Montefiore Medical Center.
The suspects fled the location in unknown directions.
