NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- A chaotic crash outside a Bronx mall led to a group of men surrounding and beating up a driver—breaking his eye socket—before driving away in his minivan, new video shows.

Police released the video Wednesday as they search for five men in the March 30 robbery.
It all started around 6:40 p.m. as the 53-year-old victim was driving his Kia minivan down Exterior Street outside the Bronx Terminal Market in the Concourse section.
As he was driving, a Lexus SUV came up from behind and collided with the back of his van, as well as a parked Honda sedan.

After the collision, six men got out of the Lexus and surrounded the victim, who they punched repeatedly in the face.
Video shows some of the men standing on top of the van and riding on its hood as traffic passes by.
The victim ran away and two of the men got into his van and drove off in it, police said. Three of the men got into the parked Honda sedan and also fled the scene.
The Honda's connection to the suspects is unclear. The Daily News reports that the attackers were two separate groups of men, from both the Lexus and Honda, who ganged up on the victim after the crash.
One of the six suspects was arrested. Police said the 23-year-old driver of the Lexus, Miquiel Guerrero, remained at the scene and was taken into custody and charged with robbery.

Police are still searching for the other five men. They're believed to be between 18 and 25 years old.
It’s unclear if the Kia van was abandoned near the scene or taken elsewhere. Police didn't say if it was recovered.
The Kia driver was taken to Jacobi Medical Center with a fractured eye socket and lacerations to his face.
