According to police, it happened on Cornelia Street and Irving Avenue in Bushwick around 8 p.m. when the thief crept up behind him and asked for the dollar.

When the victim took out his wallet, the suspect demanded all his money and forcibly removed around $200 from his hand.

There were no physical injuries reported.

Police on Wednesday released a surveillance image of the suspect, who remains at large.
