NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Brooklyn thief robbed a FedEx worker of a package containing a brand-new iPhone 12 Pro, police said Thursday as they released photos of the perp.
The 53-year-old employee was delivering packages while standing in front of a Gravesend home on East 1st Street on Monday around 1:30 p.m. when the suspect walked up to him and removed the package from his hand, threatening to hurt him.
The crook then fled on foot to parts unknown with the package containing the pricey phone, which police say is valued at around $1,000.
The FedEx worker wasn't injured in the robbery.
