
NEW YORK (1010 WIN) -- Two robbers snuck into a Brooklyn apartment building, where they shot and critically wounded a man who refused to hand over his belongings, police said Friday.
The NYPD released video of the two suspects entering the building at 65th Street and 17th Avenue in Bensonhurst on the afternoon of Sept. 24.
Police said the pair gained entry to the building around 12:45 p.m. through an unlocked backdoor.
Once inside, they went up to the 35-year-old man and demanded his property.

He refused to give them anything, so one of the men took out a gun and shot him the stomach, police said.
EMS transported the victim in critical condition to Maimonides Medical Center, were his condition was stabilized.
The suspects fled the area in a dark-colored Ford Explorer that was last seen headed southbound on 17th Avenue.
