Cops searching for attacker in Bronx slashing

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man who slashed a 30-year-old man in the face in the Bronx on Thursday.

The two were arguing on East Mosholu Parkway North near Jerome Avenue in Norwood around 1:35 p.m. when the fight escalated to violence, officials said.

The attacker slashed the victim across the face with an unidentified sharp object before fleeing on foot, according to authorities.

EMS brought the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx in stable condition.
